Where it All Started…

Omega Phi Gamma was founded at the University of Texas at Austin in the fall of 1995. Originally brought together through their sister sorority, Sigma Phi Omega, the founding fathers formed a group rooted in brotherhood, community service, and social balance. After exploring existing Asian-interest fraternities and finding them lacking, they decided to establish their own unique organization. The brothers first came together on November 18, 1994, and introduced themselves through a step show on December 2, 1994. Their efforts officially led to the founding of Omega Phi Gamma, a fraternity built from the ground up to represent Asian American values and unity

UNITY Talent Show

Founded at UT, the UNITY Talent Show is one of the Omega Phi Gamma fraternity's most cherished annual events. Since 1995, this vibrant showcase has featured the brothers performing their traditional step routines alongside new step shows. Hosted in the early weeks of the fall semester, UNITY fills to capacity each year, highlighting the rich talents of various Asian organizations on campus. The event celebrates Asian American heritage, promotes cultural diversity, and fosters connections by recognizing both the similarities and differences within Asian-American cultures.
